Resources Digital Environments

This course was designed to explore digital resources that can be utilized in the classroom. This was especially beneficial to my innovation plan because I am implementing blended learning into my third-grade classroom. With blended learning, an incredible amount of digital resources must be curated for consistent student use. This course allowed me to explore the digital resources I believe my students would benefit from most in my blended learning environment. I included an overview of what blended learning is, my experience with it, resources I have used in my classroom setting, and takeaways I have from using blended learning. I also took the knowledge I have gained about blended learning and viable resources and cultivated a publication article that can guide teachers who may be interested in incorporating this method into their classroom as well.
Publication
With great planning, comes great results.

The first step to creating a publication post was cultivating an outline. This was the most important aspect because it established the context I would discuss in my article. Since the questions challenged me to think deeply and analyze what I wanted to incorporate in my publishing, each step after the outline was considerably less intense.
Publication
Constructing the rough draft of my publication was the next step in the writing process for my article. I took the framework from my outline and expounded on the ideas I previously presented. My favorite aspect of the publication was sharing my personal experience with blended learning because it gives teachers hope that we can make this method work.
Media
The media project gave me an opportunity to create a two minute commercial to entice people to read my published article. This video allowed me to be creative and utilize my voice to convey a message I believe in and a change I would love to see implemented across classrooms. My video highlighted key facts from my article and gave a summary of what would be further discussed in the publication. Also, I enjoyed editing this project and developing a script to create this commercial.
Publication
The final step in my publication was completing my final draft. Before I was able to finalize this, one of my peers and I completed a peer review and I was able to take the feedback and apply it to my rough draft. The steps that we took during this course from the outline, rough draft, and peer review, made the final draft straightforward and effortless.
