Creating this publication article has been a fun experience for me! I enjoyed each step of the process such as the outline, rough draft, media project, and even the peer review. All these steps made completing my final draft a breeze. The most important aspect of the process was the peer review for me because I was able to get feedback without feeling an immense amount of pressure. This was also beneficial for me because I worked with Valeria Regalado, whom I have been working with since we started the program. So, I value her opinions and receive her constructive criticism well, as I have developed my growth mindset. I was able to take her criticism and apply it to my rough draft to complete the best version of my article.

Valerie and I created a set of guidelines that we felt would benefit us most to meet the expectations of our assignment. We also weighted each guideline with how important we deemed them to be. Our guidelines were as follows:
Explanation of lessons learned- 5 pts.
Digital resources included with descriptions- 5 pts.
Connection to innovation- 10 pts.
APA formatting of sources- 15 pts.
Explanation of topic- 15 pts.
Valerie scored the full for her explanation of lessons learned and connection to innovation because, throughout the entire article, she incorporated how her innovation has prevailed in her classroom. She explained how it is being used, why it is being used, and the impact it has had on her classroom environment and students. This is especially important because her classroom has a Social Emotional Learning component, so how students engage with one another and their resources is vital to their success socially, emotionally, and academically. Valerie also provided a full list of resources she used but lacked explanation on some, so I made a note of it and scored her a 2/5. She took my constructive criticism, and her revision contained explanations of each source. Next for her APA formatting, she received full credit. Valerie's explanation of her topic was relevant, precise, and informative. Although, rearranging her paragraphs would have flowed better, once she made this change her flow was much better and her ideas were more cohesive. I rated her a 13/15 on her explanation of the topic due to this. Overall, I gave her 46/50. Valerie responded well to my peer feedback and it was a pleasure collaborating with her as usual. She took her feedback and revised it as she saw fit, and I felt she curated her article beautifully.
